Some moments in life don’t ask you to slow down, they require it.
For me, that moment came through my health. After beginning a new treatment in early 2026, I was forced to take a step back from a lifestyle that, for a long time, I believed I could sustain. In that pause, I had to take an honest look at how I was living, how much stress I was carrying, and what truly needed to change.
One of the most impactful things my oncologist told me was simple. Prioritize laughter. Reduce the stress you’re carrying. That stayed with me.
I’ve spent 24 years in spaces dedicated to helping people feel better. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Metropolitan State University of Denver, with a focus in addiction studies. I’ve walked alongside people as a peer coach and mentor, supported individuals through a supportive housing program as a program manager, and led and grew successful salon businesses rooted in connection and care.
And for 14 years, I’ve been in recovery. That journey has shaped how I see people, how I show up, and how deeply I believe in the power of slowing down and reconnecting.
Agape Healing Arts has been something I’ve dreamed about for many years. There was always a reason to wait. Timing, responsibility, life. But in that forced pause, I realized waiting was no longer an option.
Agape was created as a space for real support. A place where nervous system care, grounding practices, non-traditional approaches to nutrition, peptide wellness, reiki, and simple reflexology come together to help people find balance in a way that actually fits their life.
At its core, this work is about connection. Connection back to yourself, your body, your energy, and your life.
If you’re here, I hope this becomes a space where you feel supported, where you can slow down, and where you can begin to return to yourself in a way that feels real and sustainable.
With care,
Christopher
